Did anyone else find those hidden MMORPGs out if boredom, play them an entire weekend and then never end up touching them at all, again?

I only have 2 experiences with MMOs.
1. I play until "f2p level cap", where they make it impossible to progress unless you give them your money
2. Friends invited me to play a game once, we did nothing together

Battleon (adventure quest)
LOTRO
Runescape
Maple Story
That's it I think
Sometimes I would remake runescape accounts, play them for a weekend then end up forgetting the username or password. But I liked redoing some quests or seeing how much money I could make on a level 3 or just redo the holiday events.
Ahhhh to be 10 years old again. The halloween event in runescape, autumn setting in outside, coming home on a friday, we had a week vacation at the end of october. The days darken and its getting colder. I remember the days my grandma lived with us, and I would set my pc in the living room so I could enjoy the warmth of the heater and the company of my relatives. Oh how time changes.

If an MMO has no social scene at all then you're just playing the epitome of "quantity over quality" slop.
It's crazy how all modern MMOs censor the social aspect completely and think their extremely bland gameplay and slow ass progression can keep people interested
