There is no good ending in this game.

It completely defeats the point of the game. Why would you join any faction when you could just go for Yes Man and get all the benefits of all factions but with none of the drawbacks?

Why does everyone think Yes Man means that you're Courier becomes some kind of faction leader? Sure only he can order Yes Man around after the Second Hoover Dam battle but he just lets everyone in the Mojave do what they want within reason. The securitrons are there to keep the wildlife, raiders, and land hungry NCR politicians away.

Some NPCs talk about it as though its pure anarchy. Some talk about it as though its an independent nation. And Ulysses, the guy the narrative relies upon to critique your choice of faction, doesn't even HAVE dialogue for your choice in the Yes Man route because the game is an unfinished mess.
So nobody (including the devs) knows what it's meant to be and just project whatever fanfic shit they want onto it.
