MHW is still great too, I just wish the PC port had better mod support out of the gate. You running any quality of life mods or just going raw vanilla?

One uses XFCE and the other KDE? I imagine small changes to make it work better with the specific DE.
I prefer XFCE since it's what I'm used to when using Linux. I imagine there isn't that much of a difference. Though I will say, Dolphin as a file manager is just bad compared to Thunar, but that's just me.

They're desktop environments basically. It's your graphical user interface.
XFCE is more lightweight but harder to customize since you don't really have menus to do it, gotta do a lot of fucking around.

Just fucking change to Linux. Pick an Ubuntu distro, run that for like half a year to a year to learn the ropes and shit, then change to something else since Ubuntu is pretty shit in it's own ways.

I started Linux (probably before you were born) with Slackware, went to Redhat then SuSe, then Ubuntu, then Mint, now Pop....
I have distro hopped in a while and Pop is pretty fucking out-of-the-box for gaming....
I'm feeling the urge to hop again, been wanting to check out Catchy, but just messing around with it on a VM just isn't the same.
How is it over all for stability and AMD cards? How about gaming, is it "out of the box" like Pop and Nobara?

Because I've gotten... I don't know.... bored.... well maybe not bored, at this point I just want to install and go. It was fun back when having to compile my own LAN card driver, fighting with CUPS, fucking with XFree86..... as time went on, I just got more and more to the point "Let me install and get this shit going so I can game." I still enjoy a bit of tinkering now, but mostly fucking around with GNOME tweaks, or figuring out how to install an instance of Android on my system. Don't know if that all makes sense....
