I agree with your point, but I think what really set the alarms about Roblox is how they are responding to the situation.
No promises to take the issues more seriously.
No plans to improve young players' safety.
They are promising what sounds like even better protections to the pedos, their official statements are so insane I still can't believe they are real.

Why is it that every time something gets popular with the younger generation, we always see the "DON'T USE IT! PEDOS ARE THERE!" thing?
