I play as a girl because I genuinely do love clothing and dressing and presenting myself and sometimes their clothing options are a lot more stylish.
I seriously wish Game Devs would bother to learn that there are more ways to present a male body.
Even the hair options in most games feel kind of exclusive to women, with a lot of male haircuts being boring and uninspired.

That being said, I always find it weird when people insist that their game characters are representations of themselves. Why would I want to play as myself? I want to play a character in the story and roleplay as every character I create.
