Wokeslop aside, it's probably entirely derivative of completely better games from 20+ years ago and the entire game's challenge never rises beyond "tutorial" since the dev is going for mass appeal since they have no talent or vision.

My main problem with it is that it's far too easy. The timer honestly isn't strict enough. I still enjoyed it overall.

Is it actually? I just bought it on sale, nothing really stood out as woke to me because I like brown girls and thought the MC was cute. Nothing in the descriptions implied woke shit.

The game's pretty on the nose with it's faggotry with fetishizing women/lesbian, considering the dev's a literal tranny and especially with their latest game just which screams AGP fantasy.

Fucking thank you. OP here. Like I said I just found the main girl attractive so it was an instant buy and anything ''woke'' is hidden on the steam page.

knowing this, I'll give it about an hour and refund if i'm not having fun. I mostly bought it not just for the cute brown girl but also because there's a billion metroidvanias coming out now, and this thing has reviews implying it's the next best thing

Didn't play it because of the black female protag.
Which is strange because I didn't have a problem with it in Timespinner, but I guess 2018 was a different time.
Timespinner was just OK, except for the cringe bit where one of the characters starts unironically preaching about worker's rights.

I couldn't keep playing it because it was too woke. If someone makes a patch to make the protagonist white and de-uglify the side NPCs maybe I'd actually finish it.
That said, I did like the gameplay.
