I honestly can't tell if the OP's image is serious or if it's meant to be some 'brain rot dank meme', a strawman, or incoherent skitzo babbling. But I agree with it regardless. I hate making "builds" and I quit a game if it ever has me running around in circles to "farm" for item drops or money to buy items. And it feels utterly pathetic and retarded that in RPG games that the majority of your character's strength and abilities come from their equipment with big magic numbers on them. Take off your end game gear and go try to fight mid-level enemies with only a basic weapon and you get pwned by wolves despite supposedly be a legendary hero that just saved the world from planet sized ancient evil all powerful sorcerer dragonic gods. The overly designed gear that has the big numbers that dictate how capable you're allowed to be matters more than your actual level, attacks, magic or your actual skill at the game. And without it you're completely worthless. It's "the clothes make the man" as a literal game mechanic.
It's so fucking dumb. I can't understand how it has overtaken everything. Are there really so many people that are super captivated by "number go up" ? And there is no other way to have "number go up" by collecting dress up?
