Most people wouldn't have a clue how to create a bootable USB drive, change their boot target to the drive, install an OS, then do all the fiddly shit in Linux via a terminal which is necessary.
Also Linux doesn't support kernel anti-cheats, so just about every popular multiplayer game is not runnable and this situation is getting worse, not better. Nvidia drivers are also poor.
If you have an AMD card, play single player games and have moderate computer literacy required to install an OS, Linux is already a better option now.
