Is there even a chance theyll make something for it? Its been over a year, Capcom dont make DLC for a game several years after it came out. TGS is in September, that is the only time they would have to announce something and have it out by the start of next year, but I feel like they wouldve announced it at their showcase earlier this year if they were doing something. DD is probably dead for real this time.

I don't think I can be disappointed anymore. I learned from experience to expect nothing of value from AAA games, especially games like Dragon's Dogma 2 where a big part of the budget went to advertising through e-celeb pawns instead of going into production. When the managers think that pandering to Amongold's viewers by adding an Asmongold pawn would be a better addition to the game than pushing the same huge amount of funds to add more ingame content, you know that their goal was never to dish out a good game.

It's over. Dragon's Dogma had it's chance, and they blew it.
My only hope is that one day some other developer comes along to make their own fantasy RPG that steals all the good stuff from DD.

Yeah the story may be shit with little to nothing interesting in it going on and no interesting characters. Yeah the cities and the world is bland filled with lifeless characters and there are no areas worth exploring. Yeah there's no endgame. Yeah they raised the minimum height in character creation because they're pathetic cowards slaves to an imaginary western market. Yeah the vocations are a sidegrade, or arguably a downgrade
And yeah the quests are terrible because they just have you running back and forth between NPCs and many of them, including some of the main quest, just end weirdly and abruptly which shows how little work was put into the game's overall quality...

But check out how that goblin went flying or how hard that ogre got hit in the head in the webm some retard is gonna post soon. T-That's enough to make it worth 70 bucks r-right?

Same thing as with every other AAA developer. Bloated budgets, bloated development processes, no coherent vision, too many cooks in the kitchen/kowtowing to shareholders, runaway brain drain due to consistent cheaping out on fostering in-house tools and talent, shoddier tools, shoddier methods, slackening standards due to the ability to just keep pumping out massive patches over months after release to make your half-broken game approach something resembling completion.

Or much shorter: Greed and incompetence.
