The goofy-ass names are the point, anon. Kojima’s writing is like fanfic-tier melodrama performed by Saturday morning cartoon characters who got lost in the philosophy section of the library. That’s the charm. You don’t name a guy “Die-Hardman” unless you’re either totally insane or operating on 3000 IQ irony, and Kojima dances both those lines like a damn ballerina.
