Yes I was in her basement and she was sitting right next to me but I pulled out my GBA and started playing Pokemon Emerald. After listening to me autism ramble about Pokemon for a bit she went upstairs and I kept trying to catch Pokemon in the Safari Zone

I went across to the street to play with this neighbor girl when I was 6 in 1999. I went in her house and her dad was playing MGS1, he was in the hallway leading up to Psycho Mantis. I sat and watched and the cutscene blew my fucking mind to pieces
I had my mom buy me the game the next day and I pretty much never hung out with the girl again. I still talk to her dad sometimes when I visit my dads house, I don't think he plays vidya anymore though. I let him borrow my MGS2 after I beat it
