This just pisses me off and makes me dislike what should be a game for a "ouib" like me who likes SMT and French shit (mainly their films). The game is fine, but fuck me the marketing is on par with Atlus, FF and Genshin for obnoxious.

It's worse on discord though. Because of sock puppetting, people assume people spamming games are legit posters when really they just gerrymander their positions into the largest forums and get paid extra for this. At least twitch streamers like to out call this shit out and their own shilling out.

I get your reasoning, but either you search of the needle in the shitstack or engage with mouthbreathing shitposters. Taking charge of posting bad faith threads every day is part of the idea of controlling the greater discussion and narrative surrounding a game. It happens to most popular games that get continuous threads on /v/ (except for gacha shit) and brings forth some actual mentally ill people. You simply can't have threads about certain games, without some fag(s) having a melty about it, which the obvious solution would be to ignore, but it usually doesn't work anymore with how many people frequent the site.
