Not a practical consideration, doesn't matter. The ability at which they reproduce and improve negates further consideration towards their autonomy. Either they're slaves or they would replace us. If a secret country of humans who were just better then everyone else popped up, it would be only practical to want to disrupt them before they influence us and our development too much.
