Also chess is not an IQ test it is a memory test of forward memory. To get good at chess you need t be able to memorize all the variable moves and more importantly think of X amount of moves ahead. That is literally the barometer for chess skill "I can think X amount of moves ahead" with X being your number in a skill scale.
That is it.
Shit i learned how to play chess when i was a single digit aged child.
