reloading your save
a game completely carried by it's atmosphere, music and art
reloading your save some more

why do you need to reload your save so much? is the gameplay itself annoying?

Good stuff. Although thereโ€™s a sizable update coming out a couple months that is going to flesh out some underdeveloped areas and side stories, so you may want to hold off.
Couple things to know going in:
Never say no to a visitor.
Saving requires exploring a couple untouched areas first before returning to your apartment, so take advantage of that when you can between excursions. Rest is important. Your apartment is important. Donโ€™t ignore it.

Only reloading I ever had to do was in the first couple hours of the game at worst.
Even on the hardest difficulty, youโ€™ll be doing fine and noticing some serious power growth as you play.

OH ALSO do not ignore throwable objects or items in general. They are fucking great.

It is mildly annoying, but not that bad.
The save system is kind of weird. You can't just save whenever you want, and the game is full of "Gotcha" gameovers when you select the wrong options. There might be a few fights early on that just randomly are impossible and you didn't realize it until too late, but I've heard there's been patches for that.
Also you'll probably want to see alternatives to the options you end up selecting each day after seeing certain things happen from your actions.

A surprisingly exceptional, rad OST.

Running away is extremely easy and the game pretty much explicitly states when a fight is going to be too tough for you. May not have been in the game last y out played.

it is? I fought the thing in Lyle's room and the monster with the talking pipe and I tried spamming escape to no avail
