The Hen That Laid Golden Eggs
Once upon a time, there lived a cloth merchant in a village with his wife and two children.

They were indeed quite well-off. they had a beautiful hen which laid an egg every day. it was not an ordinary egg, rather, a golden egg. but the man was not satisfied with what he used to get daily. He was a get-rich-quick kind of person.

The man wanted to get all the golden eggs from his hen in a single go. So, one day he thought hard and at last thought of a plan. He decided to kill the hen and get all the eggs together.

So, the next day when the hen laid a golden egg, the caught hold of it, took a sharp knife, chopped off its neck and cut its body open. There was nothing but blood all around and no trace of any egg at all.

He as highly grived because now he would not get even a single egg.

The Zen master Hakuin was praised by his neighbors as one living a pure life.

A beautiful Japanese girl whose parents owned a food store lived near him. Suddenly, without any warning, her parents discovered she was with child.

This made her parents angry. She would not confess who the man was, but after much harassment at last named Hakuin.

In great anger the parent went to the master. "Is that so?" was all he would say.

After the child was born it was brought to Hakuin. By this time he had lost his reputation, which did not trouble him, but he took very good care of the child. He obtained milk from his neighbors and everything else he needed.

A year later the girl-mother could stand it no longer. She told her parents the truth – the real father of the child was a young man who worked in the fishmarket.

The mother and father of the girl at once went to Hakuin to ask forgiveness, to apologize at length, and to get the child back.

Hakuin was willing. In yielding the child, all he said was: "Is that so?"

This was more of a case of the merchant putting his nephew in charge of the goose because all he had to do is feed it and collect eggs and he's set for life, only for the nephew to throw the goose out to make room for a cow because he heard milk is popular

im having fun now with the new additions and higher difficulty quests but i didn't touch it for months after completing the main story at launch because i just didn't enjoy the dogshit endgame. i have hope for the future of the game but at the same time it seems fundamentally broken.

Reminder that if you hate Wilds but defend World or Rise slop, you are the reason Monster Hunter sold out to normalfags and has lost its Soul. You wanted this by defending World.

idk the mounting and insect stick bug shit was the nice (i guess...). actually to really distill it down to the exact moment was seeing tigrex vertically climb a cliff in the MH4's trailer.
