Hey pals! I don't currently own a console. I've been very busy and only played occasionally on my PC. Now that I have more time, I want to get a console again. I have a couple of games in my PSN library (many PS+ and some digital, and only a few Switch games). Which of the two consoles is more worthwhile?

PS5 is a better value, more games on the horizon too. Switch 2 has a lot of catching up to do but there's a lot of shortcomings with the current platform. You can get any PS5 console and you'll be fine. I'd wait for a notable Switch 2 revision before picking one up.

Everything on PS5 is on PC.
If you don't have a gaming PC then buying a PS5 make sense but if you got one then what is the point on buying a PS5? Like are you retarded?

I have both and I can tell you the only thing the Switch has going on for it is portability and the Nintendo exclusives. Ps5 is obviously more powerful and while it doesn’t have any exclusives worth mentioning, some of the games are actually on the disk so you won’t have to deal with game key card autism if you’re mostly a third party player. Or just get a Steam deck with a dock and avoid all the problems I just mentioned.

Switch 2 if you already have PC.

Switch 2 if youre a toddler and like their silly games or like to game in bed on a mobile device. Only advantage for Switch 2 is portability but Id rather wait for next Deck or Xbox Ally

Switch 2 is the easier choice for me, but you'll miss out on some kino like Silent Hill 2 Remake and Monster Hunter games. Switch only has Generations and Rise right now and they're not Switch 2 titles.

Both shit for different reasons but Switch 2 may eventually end up with worthwhile games

Man The “console wars” its a playschool material shit, there is nothing of that these Days, the same concept is dead (fortunately). I just want to buy a console and great games… DK + MKW or Expedition, SBlade and Tsushima… thats my doubts

Switch 2

No point in even entertaining PS5 at this point--it's past the midpoint in its lifecycle with 1-2 worthwhile exclusive games. The only reason it's not the worst console this gen is that xbox fumbled even harder.

Switch 2 for sure if you already have a PC. It can fill a handheld niche and even though it doesn't have games yet, you can play the Switch 1 library. Of course, you can also emulate that on your PC as well, so keep that in mind. A PS5 will basically bring you nothing worthwhile you can't already get, though.

I have both and a PC. If you enjoy handheld gaming and Nintendo games then get a switch 2. If not save your money and just buy playstation games when they come to PC.

Get a Switch 2 to bide your time when the PS6 comes out, and depending on the specs to price ratio, see if you want to upgrade your PC or have a PS6 until the next optimal price point comes along.

Nintendo gatekeeping most indies one Switch 1 so your minimum specs for PC shit is secure but once they get access to Switch 2 except games to demand 12GB of VRAM for no reason.

Why would you ever buy a PS5 when a PS6 is so close. At least the Switch 2 is new
