Removing cigarette smoke smell from a Wii?
My Grandma gave me her old Wii and it smells so bad it makes me want to puke. How do I fix this?

Just start smoking yourself, you won't notice it then.

You need an ozone generator.

The fan has tar on it and when you turn on the Wii that fan blows that tar and probably heat it up so it smells worse.

Yes but they’re dirt cheap. You can find one at any thrift store instead of keeping a smoke contaminated one.

Anon, I don't realistically see you fixing this. But if you want to try something, get a strong scented candle (3-wick), put it and the wii in a mostly enclosed space, like a large box that you can cover the top of. Something large enough that won't be too close to the flame. Leave enough opening for oxygen, but keep mostly enclosed. Turn the console on and light the cancle, and let it sit in the scent for a while. Maybe no more than an hour, but keep an eye on it. Do this routinely. Never leave unattended.

Sentimental value I guess.

That wasn't a joke.
Every time I'm enjoying late evening espresso and chain smoking I feel genuine pity for people who have never experienced this euphoria.
