Ragna/v/ is a Ragnarok Online private server promoted only here on 4chan. There is no monetization, no cash shop, no Discord or external communication except for threads on 4chan.

Click the Rentry page, the size of my customization changelog should give you an idea. Or just look at the class specific changes for your favorite class.
It was mostly uplifting the weaker classes and making Melee DPS usable. And then I also downported some Renewal maps, monster and gear to expand it beyond stale old Pre-Renewal content limits.

In all sorts of ways. Not just by buffing the classes themselves, but at the game mechanic level. For example, you can now tank more characters attacking you simultaneously before your FLEE/DEF gets penalized.

They got other stuff to make up for it. Removing Homunculi is probably the single most controversial change. I did it to completely eliminate any possibility of AFK farming. Rather than allowing legalized botting, making Alchemists good on their own is a better option.

Slots on weapons that previously had none.
You can tank more enemies at once before penalties begin.
The changes to melee classes in general a lot more subtantial, second only to Ninja/Gunslinger buffs because these needed a boost the most.

Oh you were asking about Biochemist. Okay, I thought it was about melee classes.
They get Cart Cannon, which is a downported 3rd class skill that will effectively work like an AoE ranged Mammonite. They also get the Acid Zone skills, which give you some elemental attack.

Important thing to say is that you get more materials per craft, so making all your stuff for skills is easier.

Looking through alch set bonus, would adrenaline rush boost cart cannon's cast or is it mostly for reducing costs via the item drops?

Adrenaline Rush gives ASPD, which has no effect on cast time.
Yes, it's meant to give mostly stats while also adding some nice bonus drops.

A bit weak on the lacking offensive side, but then again, I never tried it myself to be sure. I guess item drops makes the merchant fantasy better.

its a non-linear mmo so its understandable that you had no idea what to do. there are quests but they are for unlocking certain dungeons and many servers will simply unlock them for you as questing is a pain in the ass in this game. the main thing you do is simply farm monsters to level up and collect gear. unlike other MMOs grouping up makes a giant difference in what content you can tackle so play together with somebody if you can
