And the graphics are fire. The style still holds up today. It unironically looks better than 4 and 5. Only H2A and Infinite look good from modern Halo, and 343 didn't even make one of those games.

Halo 4 was a huge upgrade over halo 3. But that's not saying much since Microsoft put infinite money into it.

The original teaser for the slip space engine in halo infinite was very impressive. They should of handed it to a more talented dev team.

Yes, it still looks fantastic. Bungie's five game Halo run was a masterpiece in fun gameplay, addictive multiplayer, engaging story and evocative soundtrack. I still listen to some tracks today. They're ridiculously good. It's a product of the time when things were made by people who gave a shit.
In terms of gameplay/story I've been chasing the high that Halo gave me for years and haven't found a match. Games aren't made by actual people anymore, sadly.
