Never give money for a product that's not complete. It encourages theft - such as devs saying they ran out of money and can't finish the game, then running off with their scam money.
Never buy incomplete games, nor dlc/cashshop/subscriptions/etc.
Even if your actions don't change anything, at least you did the right thing, and weren't a beta that submitted to evil.

Yes but people voted with their wallet for this. You complain about microtransactions and paying extra for 5-days early access but they stuck around because people keep paying for it. If there is no profit to be had then they'd stop doing it.

I’ve bought one of these early access premium editions when I had a long weekend coming up and it made the game come out at the start of it rather than the end of it. Obviously I wish the game just came out earlier for free, but there’s still value in timing.

you aren't paying to play early, you are paying extra to not play later than others and miss out
