RoS had a ton of potential but sadly had a disastrous launch of which a lot of issues could have been ironed out with a beta test.
They initially seemed to be working a lot on improving the game with frequent patches but then after the 3rd or 4th patch they suddenly stopped and it took almost two months for the next patch (which is also the one that added ranked to the game) which was just way too late.
The game still did very well for games of its kind so I'm expecting more Bleach in the future.
Also, fuck them for going with Harribel's censored anime design despite everyone else being uncensored.

The leak Marvel licensing deal for Spider-Man really gives you an idea of how much they take out of the deal. Bleach had one on the PS3 but it was shit. Naruto also had musou-esque games in the past, at least I can distinctly remember one I played on the PSP. Fate has Extella.
Problem with musou is that only Omegaforce/Koei can make good ones and they've been Nintendo slaves for years now. But before that they made a Berserk one and even a fucking Arslan one which is pretty fucking weird since that's never been that popular.

He's an eternal jobber after that until the end of the manga.
It sucks a lot because Kubo had a solid chance to give him a strong power up in the last 2 arcs thanks to one of the concepts he introduced (Fullbring), but he did nothing at all with it, and so Chad remained practically irrelevant even in the end.

It's not horrible, but it's definitely not meant for mp, it's very much like the naruto arena fighters where the main game is the single player/story mode.
