To me these are the weirdest box art legendaries. It feels like such a departure from normal pokemon design (before UltraBeasts). I don't even get what they are inspired by.

Also, even at its worst the Arceus theme absolutely fucking trumps it in shit. When I cheated in the Azure Flute I thought it was an unfinished placeholder song. DPP still have a fantastic OST but it is far from the best

I always liked Palkia more then Dialga, mainly cause he used the sounds of Boga and King Ghidorah plus just has the more interesting design. Shining Pearl giving him an ugly horse design was so awful, it should've been more reptilian shaped or maybe something aquatic since he's also a water type.

Im sad that modern pokemon music seriously doesnt reach to half the emotional level this reaches, i cant say there arent good songs. But the entire PMD themes are so much better. They hold a special place deep in my heart.
