avalanche should just make an unofficial sequel, they can do anything with a post apocalyptic setting without any restrictions. plus they could go hard with the arkham and vehicular combat.

If anything I suspect Miller is the reason we are not getting a sequel. He was unhappy with the game, but I dare to say George is old and out of touch, because the game was miles ahead of Furiosa.
He only wants a new game or sequel if Hackjima directs the game, which is total no-go for me.

Avalanche and Kojima have different styles. A sequel made by him would rework most of the game.
>id love to see how he handles it
After DS2 and DS1, hard pass from me
Besides Mad Max requires a level of sincerity, Kojima is too in love with 4 wall breaking and meta jokes.

Yeah this game had a bizzare ending. Literally one mission after you get the V8, the thing the whole game was teasing you with, it's over. Immediately after the ending, it cuts to post game where Chum Bucket is alive again, like nothing happened and you can keep playing from there, but there's no point. You don't really have any time to upgrade the V8 or play with it unless you save every side quest and don't go to get Hope's daughter. It's like a whole section of the game was cut out because it was unfinished.

He was upset because the game was going to be set in the United States. That's why the desert area looks like Arizona/Nevada instead of Australia. I think he gave up on the game and a change happened during development where they switched everything to Australia at the last minute. Awesome game and it actually has some lore shit that ends up appearing in Furiousa like the maggot farming and different colored boys.

I 100%ed it. It was a little annoying. There's some achievement that needs to contact some WB game server (THAT DOESN'T EXIST ANYMORE). There was some trick to getting the achieve, i think you could find a save file with it completed and opening the save file was enough

โ€œIt wasnโ€™t as good as I wanted it to be,โ€ said Miller of the most recent Mad Max game. โ€œWe gave all of our material to a company to do it. But, you know, Iโ€™m one of those people who would rather not do something unless you can do it at the highest level or at least try to make it at a higher level.โ€
โ€œIโ€™ve just been speaking to [Hideo] Kojima here who came all the way from Japan,โ€ Millers says. โ€œIf he would take it onโ€ฆbut heโ€™s got so much fantastic stuff in his own head that I would never ask him. But if someone like that would take it on.โ€

There are cool elements in the game that go back straight to car warfare of the legendary, i repeat LEGENDARY Interstate 76, a more cool version of the Mad MAx universe.

But it also has all the Ubislop gameplay written over it which makes it unbearable. Also, the story doesnt get resolved. Nothing is at stake and you end up where you began. The whole car construction is moot becaue you get your Interceptor back in the end.

It didn't sell well by WB's standards. It was the 8th best selling game in the US of September 2015. Sundberg blame MGS V: The Phantom Pain for loss of sales since they released on the same day. Sundberg tried to change the release date but WB wouldn't listen.
