Oh boy, another thread where faggots will argue semantics about something being "le retro or not" for 500 posts! Thanks Moot!

Consoles after 5th gen still aren't retro, since the only reason they clung on is by deliberately holding everything back after x86 home computing became generally affordable, performant and better in every way.
The only terminology to use for consoles 6th gen and up is "retarded", as evidenced by the fact that games from those gens are mostly the same as current gens apart from the stagnation and generally declining quality introduced by a highly speculative industry changing hands and consolidating multiple times over the last 25 years.

Haha... I'm 33 this year.

I remember buying the Core with my dad, but in the end I spent more by buying the HDD separately, haha, Kameo and PGR3 were pretty good. This console had personality.

A baseline PS5 would have cost you 900$ at this point, slap a PS5 pro on there and you're looking at 1600$, maybe 1200$ if you want to be generous and assume you could sell your obsolete console. That's before paying additional costs on games and assuming you will stop paying 80$ a year for basic functionality.
For something that's basically a 3060 and now a 4060ti equivalent with a bargain bin CPU and other components, that's not exactly a great deal.

Bro, you're not including rent and income taxes on the console side while pretending the pc version would make you exempt? If you're going to be disingenuous either way might as well go the whole hog.
Anonymous No.718296748
>>718295602
I mean it's simplified as shit anyway, the console side is overly optimistic even.
Including paid online is just a basic assumption for the average person on consoles and that's something that's not present on PC as a baked in assumption for almost all games.
