Weird that it's got Hanzo but not Galford even though they're both ninjas in the same franchise.

How's the new Shinobi? I really liked Ragebound
Anonymous No.718302749 >>718304541

I enjoyed the demo a lot, it's worth checking out yourself. There's some tight and tough platforming sections but on the whole it's a much more open game than Ragebound, it has stages but they're extremely big and have optional challenge rooms and unlocks to find, there's even a fast travel between checkpoints. The combat is also a bit more combo-focused, enemies still die quite fast but you have a bigger moveset and are expected to use it to juggle and take out enemies more smoothly.

It's kinda like a rich get richer type of combat system where the better you are at keeping your combo up the faster you get to kill enemies with the instant kill move which nets you way more rewards.
And if you aren't as good at it then you're gonna be doing regular juggles for every enemy. I liked the demo a lot, it was fun and the hit feedback is good.

Where's my new Shinobido game. I think it's legit in my top 3 PS2 titles.

Why. It's one of the best parts of the game. It's such a fun clusterfuck, and it's not particularly frustrating.

What is the difference between a shinobi and a Ninja?
Anonymous No.718308385
>>718306706
I believe Shinobi is the more historical term and Ninja is the more fictional one but they're just the same thing. Sorta like Onmyou and Magic are sorta the same thing

Because it's not fun when the boss just starts chucking out fullscreen hitboxes like candy on Halloween. I get that's the point-old-school arcade style difficulty-but at some point it stops feeling like a duel and more like a chore. I beat it, sure, but it made me never want to touch the game again. The rest of Ninja Warriors Once Again felt so slick and fluid and then that ending just faceplants into a ball of cheap BS.

You mean the security beams? The middle and the ends of the screens are safe points from them, their activation is telegraphed and the things are foreshadowed by the level before in the remake. Also they're even better at keeping the enemies in check that they do you, and you're not supposed to stay in the same spot.

>at some point it stops feeling like a duel and more like a chore
>that ending just faceplants into a ball of cheap BS
I don't think that fight is supposed to feel like a duel at all, just some scumbag getting again from you. You fight plenbty of duels before him, and he's much easier and manageable than many before.

what duel are you talking about, all bosses in bmups are crowd fights and the final boss is literally hiding behind a wall of glass
It's not hard to deal with anyway
