Probably because no one actually bought a Switch 2

Fast RMX was one of the first game I bought for my Switch and it was amazing.

So Fast Fusion was a day one buy for me, and it too is absolutely brilliant.

the fusion gimmick is completely pointless
you just fuse the top speed with the top boost and it invalidates every other ship

mario kart is a system seller, it'll have 90% attachment rate either way. but if you advertise the other racing game too, people will buy both mario kart and fast.
