As someone who is 39, I can't even comprehend how anyone would play this shit. I don't think it's some "boomer, zoomer, alpha" situation. It completely comes off as a a pathetic attempt to appeal to everyone, but appeals to no one for that very reason.

my first cod game was mw3 (2011) and I thought it was a pretty good game but I hated the annual releases bullshit and quit paying attention to it at cod ghosts.
I really think if we just ignored the annual release gimmick it really died around black ops 2.
somehow following trends with these gay battle royal with cheese games has actually made it worse than annual release slop.
