He voiced like 30 lines, tops. I would hardly remember doing that too. Fucking hell, his casting was a terrible mistake. I would have accepted him as a new Sam Fisher, but not Snake. Snake needs to talk at length, in codecs and cutscenes. Yeah Hayter sucked in MGS4, but he was trying too hard to do an old man voice and nobody was giving him feedback.

i'm in the first category and i'm not brown, thoughever. the months leading up to the release of this game were so much fucking fun here, and then the actual game came out and turned out to be an unfinished wet turd (with open world bases!)
its the only MGS game i haven't beaten at least 4 times, and its so fucking bad that once i beat it i have genuinely never turned it on again. its just not a good metal gear game, at all. no amount of wacky robotic arms and far cry style outposts to clear can change that. I also think its really funny how people always suck off Keifer for his role in this game, but pretend Ocelot doesn't sound like a retarded gay cowboy for no fucking reason, which is interesting because he speaks the most out of everyone in the entire game

the interesting thing about DS2 is that it really feels like a (spiritual) sequel to MGSV. The first Death Stranding didn't have this feeling at all, but the second one has all these bases they want you to infiltrate and secure, and so many guns and weapons to do it with. You're also living in a Metal Gear, that probably had a lot to do with it. Many years after the game came out, it feels like Kojima finally got to do what he wanted with the open world sneaking game idea, i hope he finally fucking moves on now
