Its not a big secret or anything, but the lotr games and the star wars revenge of the sith are both really solid arpgs. If you remember at the time literally every movie that came out had some shovelware piece of trash game on the ps2, but these movie games were actually really fun. Also, Bard's Tale (arpg) and champions of norrath are both great from that era. Neither hidden but kinda niche.
