Wuchang: Fallen Feathers was censored after the devs scrambled out of fear of upsetting their own Chinese audience. If you already have the game, there's a mod to remove the censorship. For the future, I’m staying away from both Chinese slop and goyslop at the same time

Man, I am so disappointed with what happened with Wuchang, and I can't even be mad at the devs as the changes were basically done under duress (its reported cops were even called) but the new censorship is so bad, even ruining the story. Sad because it was a great game. Basically due to backlash and threats, they have made most human bosses now friendly (can't kill them anymore) all citizens are now allies and you cant attack ming dynasty soldiers

Wuchang is the first chinkslop I bought. And It made me rethink doubting china's ability to create something good. Then Patch 1.5 came, and my previous doubt was instantly justified.
