I've been using the G Pro Wireless for like 5 years now, it's fine but I'm really annoyed by the fucked up side buttons that double-triple click which I don't know how to fix. Been thinking about getting a brand new mouse specifically for FPS games that I've been playing quite a lot lately. I could either get another Logitech Wireless model, maybe the superlight or something, or I could also get one of the Zowie mice, I've seen some pros using them

A wired connection is obviously faster than a wireless connection, that's not the question.
The issue is how quickly that signal is generated inside of the mouse and how quickly that signal is then translated and transferred over to the CPU, and it hasn't been very long that they even started optimizing for all that.

I think you're going to be better off figuring out how to cable manage a wired mouse so it isn't a problem. I'm not even going to bullshit about latency or reliability and all that crap, I'll just say that holy fuck it gets annoying to have 57 different devices with draining batteries in them that need charging and management, a wired mouse you can plug that shit in once and then use it for a decade straight or something.
