No. A bunch of people (me included) watched that popular YT video and thought waggleshit maybe isn't so bad and we should give it another chance but time has shown that it was just one delusional dude and waggleshit is indeed shit.
Wii control scheme itself is just too specific for most games and using gyro to aim is too annoying for every game and interferes with other inputs so it's only really good for FPS games and casual shit. And for all that stuff, M&KB is superior in terms of both comfort and accuracy. For everything else a controller is superior. Motion controls are completely redundant and even Nintendo moved away from them only using it for slight aim adjustments in games where you aim weapons like BOTW or Splatoon.
I wouldn't mind replacing the right stick with a trackpad like the Steam Deck has because nowadays the right stick is only ever used for aiming and a trackpad is strictly superior for that. It's not AS accurate as M&KB and gyro with a lot of practice but it's massively ahead of regular joystick. Good enough goes a long way and the comfort of a trackpad makes it superior to gyro even if gyro in theory can be faster and more accurate.
