In a way the hate for him is overblown but at the same time at every opportunity possible it seems he takes the option that will cause people to hate him more. Like that WoW drama really wasn't a big deal like people made it to be, but had he taken any responsibility at any point during it things wouldn't have been nearly as bad for him. people use the term industry plant a lot but this really feels like one. I know he got "popular" off shorts so maybe he's not intentionally propped up by some entity, but its more like he's technically popular but nobody knows who he actually is or what he does.
