Definitely not. It has a great costumes, a beautiful gothic countryside setting, fun characters, cool cheesy 2000s action fights a la Blade, Underworld and Hellboy, and has two very sexy ladies. If anything it's underrated. Better than Van Helsing.

I'll take the excuse to say I'm playing through Bloodborne for the first time and I think it's an all time favorite. I'm holding off on doing the DLC since I'm emulating it and it hasn't been the smoothest experience.

For me the breakthrough with Coles figuring the nature of the dream without fully understanding it by watching a movie he already saw as a kid is the peak of 12 monkeys, then it lead to cementing his relationship with his psychiatrist. Because the acting feels so genuine I love it.
