For one dollar you never have to worry about it again.
You do know how to solder, right anon?
Anonymous No.718325927 >>718326235
so desolder them and put in TMR sticks instead. just have to do it once.

i have never encountered drift in any controller i've ever used and I don't get how it happens to people

I've used my PS4 controller for thousands of hours and it doesn't drift... the buttons are mushy and barely function anymore but the stick is fine

This, after 2 years with my oled the og joycons they came with are still working perfectly fine outside the joystick gum falling off and them getting kind of dirty

Why can't the manufacturer of the controller just add a TMR stick to begin with?

This seems like the fakest issue

it eventually happens to any potentiometer based analog stick from regular use, but it can happen sooner if you get dirt in it or otherwise damage it.
the first console where it was a huge problem was the switch, and then the problem got exponentially worse when the PS5 and XSX came out. for some reason the alps sticks they used got shittier and more susceptible to drift than the previous gen even though they already used alps sticks.
if you buy any of the current big 3 console controllers it'll happen within a year or two. if it doesn't it's because you don't actually use them very much.

Seems like just some horse shit to advertise TMR sticks and/or explain why you lost in COD

your anecdotal experience does not reflect reality. there would not be a large market of replacement sticks and frequent discussion of the issue if it was not legitimate.
now try playing that 2K game you buy every year for more than 20 hours and maybe you'll get it, fat boy.

I had my OG switch for over a year without issues. After I gave it to my nephews it had drift after 2 weeks, so it is either user error, or because their house and room was incredibly dusty (their house is in the middle of bumfuck nowhere Texas)

Seems more like the stick drift is anecdotal evidence

Because consolefags are SUCKERS who accept that shit as normal and will just buy a new controller.

the cost and they need people to keep buying new controllers
