If I am a casual gamer, should I play Silent Hill 2, RE4, or Dead Space?

Out of all of them, I liked Dead Space Remake the most. However, I urge you to play the originals, I'm a demake player myself but someday i want to play the best versions

Sh2 remake is the most casual of the three. It borders on walking sim territory where the game-play is very shallow and repetitive compared to the other 2

Probably Dead Space, it was meant to be the popcorn vessel version of re4

RE4 is the most gameplay intensive no doubt. it still expects you to know how to play the first game, unless you play on journalist mode, so maybe it's not your cup of tea, but I still recommend it because it's a fun game where you can shoot an infected spanish villager in the face and roundhouse kick him into oblivion as he recoils from a bullet that should've blown his skull the fuck out. if you wanna git gud at it then play the mercenaries arcade mode autistically and then the story mode will be a piece of cake.

if you play RE4 first you'll spoil the others, because it mogs them hard.

How long did it take for you to delete Dead Space from your HDD? I am leaning towards Silent Hill 2 because of what >>718326224 said, but I'd be willing to try Dead Space if it is something I can keep around for a couple years. I am biased against RE4 because I saw a buddy of mine play it and it looks the most stressful of the three.

Maybe Silent Hill 2 Remake has more endings compared to Dead Space? I'm not sure, I am a casual gamer. But Dead Space was scarier and took longer for me to beat

If I get the RE4 Wii Edition, does it still count?

Doesn't this argument break down because all those old movies were already shot in 35mm?

you can but I don't see why you just don't get RE4 (2005) on steam. hell you can pirate the old ass ubisoft version from a million years ago. there are mods to fix it.

None of the de-makes.
Only the OG versions, abd out of those, classic RE4 is the best.

SH is best started with the 1st game.
Here's the SH PC guide.

SH2 and RE4 DEImakes fuck8ng suck. They're insults towards the beloved original games. If you "must" play those, pirate them AFTER finishing originals.

Oh, I'm a turbo casual. The most powerful computer I have is a Macbook Air. I'll check out RE4 on PC when I get the opportunity, but if I am going to play RE4 tomorrow, I'll get the PS5 or Wii versions.

Thank you.

Silent Hill 2 first, RE4 next and then Dead Space. SH will teach you the basics with a nice atmosphere, RE4 will test what you've learned in a more action packed scenario, Dead Space will make you feel at home, so that's why they flip it upsidown in zero-g to make it feel fresh.

play REmake, go from there
