>saving in SH1 has Harry writing down memos on a notepad
>first time you save has this text pop up
>"Someday, someone may experience these bizarre events. Hopefully, they will find my notes useful."
>17 years later it was his own daughter that ended up reading these notes
Made me tear up a little when I first came across it ngl. I wish there were more hidden memos scattered around so we can see what Harry was thinking about as he was running through the town in the first game.
"She's just beyond this door.
I don't know how, but I can sense it.
But she's not the only one there.
I sense the presence of something
extremely dangerous, even sickening...
or maybe what they call 'God'.
Nevertheless, I will open the door.
Enough of this idle chit-chat.
'God' I'm not, but I fully intend
to save her... no, them."
Even the credits theme's lyrics detail Harry's life after the events of SH1.

It's implied he became a bit of a drunk, going to bars and telling anyone who'd listen about the shit he came across and how he'll never really be free from the town. He's more of a tragic character than James honestly. James ending is left vague, Harry fucking dies on a couch.
My ranking is still 1>2>3 though, 3 has way too many enemies and the reused hospital from 2 really soured the mood near the end.
