Consolefag here, I bought it for older PC games and emulation.
If a game is capable of 60fps on both Switch 2 and Steam Deck, I'll buy it on the Switch 2 to benefit from the extra resolution.

Since I was a child I had always wanted to own a system that was portable, could connect to tvs, and play just about every game ever made. Steam Deck checked all those boxes and now I own something I have always wanted.

also its cheaper, the games are cheaper, free online, and all my games are on steam

I have both desu but I haven't touched the Switch 2 since like, 2 weeks after it came out because it only has 1 game that I care about and I already 100%'d it 10 years ago.
