what if Dante ends up thinking Nelo trashed the church and just slaps him out of drunken rage because it made him look bad
like he just fucking slaps him and knocks him back before he realizes what he did and makes the same expression he does when he accidentally kills you in DMC3 (which also showed his lack of restraint)
