Maybe it lost players because people thought yesterday was the last day. There's still 4 hours and then it's over. I personally did all the challenges and stopped playing. There's no point playing to the last minute.

Shittier maps than last weekend, people are starting to have lots of gripes out weapon balance, and the whole cheating drama is cratering confidence since EA doesn't seem willing to do anything about it

Have you reported anyone? You can actually report people in-game, and maybe that'll lead to people getting banned.
