That's not what happened. Mr Game Dude was your typical /v/ user. No girlfriend and a fan of video games. His success as the GameDude allowed him to meet a woman who he began a romantic entanglement with. However, one of his trolls matched with her on a dating app and managed to get her to show up to a coffee shop. Gamedude's gf also implied she would fuck this guy on the first date among other things. This lead our intrepid game reviewer into a dark place. He was desperate to fix things with her, after all she was his first girlfriend. Despite his advances she refused to work things out and accused him of stalking her, etc. That's what lead to him reenacting the argument through dinosaur figures and creating a website that detailed the ongoing court battle.
Gamedude was and will always be one of the greats. He was a younger AVGN, who appealed to people like me who grew up with Playstation or N64 games. It's a damn shame he had to flee the country and it is a constant reminder why you should never get involved with a woman.
