is this game good? i thought i heard good things and never really took a look at it until now that i saw it was on sale and the graphics look pretty bad like early 2000s bad. like it has no charm whatsoever compared to stardew valley, sea of stars, etc. like it looks like a rpgmaker game

It really does feel like that
I wandered around the town and it kinda feels like one of those maplestory esque slopfests where nothing is coherent, like its all shop cosmetics blended together
I haven't felt like picking it up again, I just played GoA and finished that.

it's fun. I enjoy everything it provides a lot more than stardew. only complaint is the portraits for all the characters.

it has better combat than stardew valley, and it has THREE separate farms and towns to work with. its more story driven, and they put more effort into the characters i think, but honestly stardew valley was more fun and cozy with its simplicity.

one great thing though, is that you can get a spell to blow a bubble across the water and just suck fish up, completely bypassing the fishing game. amazing addition. FUCK fishing games.

I've not played it but from my friend who plays all of these cozy farming games they said it was pretty shallow outside of the characters; but I can't imagine that's difficult because Stardew's characters interactions is 1 line a day.
Yeah it has more content than Stardew but it's not as good of content.

From my personal view the character art is atrocious which is a shame because the world art is fantastic and that's a make or break for me.
