Same for extends if there is already a cap... why should I bother getting the extend item at all in such a situation? What kind of complex choice is the player even making? This is definitely where you made it very obvious how much you are mindlessly sucking 8ing cock while complaining about people sucking off CAVE instead, couldn't be a more blatant projection if you tried.

Ideally you want to avoid that outside of purely casual runs, you will mostly reach the same score thresholds, use bombs in the same spots, dodge shit in the same way, and so on.
