Wouldn't even the most basic subdermal armor implant completely stop bullets from the 1800s? And it's installed during a main story mission so it's canon V has it unlike the Sandevistan.

I bought and refunded cyberpunk within the same day somewhere in 2022 while shills are doing damage control and chuds are dropping webms in every cyberpunk threads. I'm trying to be ooen with all the bugs and unplayble framerates on that time, but even without the bugs, you can tell that this kind of repetitive game design would lead you nowhere.

It's impossible for non augs to get hacked even with the weird tech bullshit. It's just that you need at bare minimum a neuralport aug that lets you use the tech in any city or other cyberware. It's so common and cheap that even hobos you see on the street have it. So you pretty much need to have one unless you have another way of making money without the tech. Arthur basically invalidates any netrunner from killing him on the spot. Still outmatched but that's not a thing he has to worry about
