Literally had a game where I tried to stay on top of any tank I can reach, only got 150 by the end of it because there's only one tank and 3 other engineers are also fixing it. Or it got blown up immediately.

I can explain what I did, even if it's too late now. If a tank is alive, I would spawn on the tank and wait inside until it was damaged. If a tank is respawning, I would wait for it to respawn and then use the tank until it was damaged. You had to do that until the challenge was done.

Black Myth Wukong is a very demanding game. So it's a good benchmark. I think all that's left to test is Alan Wake 2, if i can run Alan Wake 2 then it's a certainty that my card is not bad. But the fact that I was able to run those games listed makes me confident in what i said.

If i had an unstable card then these games would have brought it out. Wukong uses 13GB of VRAM maxed out for christ's sake, even if you believe it's debatable about whether it looks the part. Space Marine 2 i think looks ten times better, but uses less VRAM. And Cyberpunk is probably the best gaming raytracing benchmark i can think of.

I swear to god the average IQ of players in this game is substantially lower than any prior game.

I considered the fact that my card is toast, but if i can play similarly demanding games then it wouldn't make much sense. The Beta was fucked up if no other game I play reproduces this issue. What is very bizarre about the whole ordeal is that i could sit in that BETA firing range for ages and not crash. But i think Battlefield V crashed too when i tested it. So I'm chalking it up to something about my card and CPU not playing well with Frostbite engine. I have no idea what it is. Engineer and Recon were both pretty fun. Had some awesome c4 vehicle kills with recon playing it like spec ops from bf2 with a smg instead of the gay ass sniper rifles with glint. Engi was great just for pulling out the launcher and sending buildings down with motherfuckers trying to play peekaboo from inside.
People shit talk my baby the AK 205 carbine because it only does 20 damage per shot but it has naturally low recoil and you can build it to ether have a laser beam hipfire accuracy with the expensive blue light attachment or put on the cheap blue dot, still have very good hipfire and use a silencer.

Based recon enjoyer. People sleep on SMG recon builds, but there’s something undeniably satisfying about getting behind enemy lines and just causing chaos. I’ve been running that same AK 205 with the silencer + blue dot combo and it's insanely underrated. Yeah, it doesn’t punch hard, but when you’re clearing rooms like a ghost and they can’t even hear you coming? Feels like old-school spec ops again-almost makes up for the clown fiesta rest of the game is. Almost.

Also, props for blowing buildings with engi. Nothing like turning someone's cozy sniper spot into a pile of rubble mid-peak.

Nah, NVO was mostly 5 BTK, not 3, it's 3 BTK range is like 5 meters, bascially useless, actually had the worst TTK out of them all but slower shooting so a bit more controllable. M433 has a great 4 BTK range, makes it one of the fastest killing guns in beta but drops to 5BTK and recoil isn't the best in that gun. G36 has similar 4 BTK range to M433 and it's far more controllable than M433 and even NVO desu.That's why I think it's a great gun. I still liked M433 due to 40 round mag and suppressor setup since I couldn't make it happen on G36, I had to sacrifice either mag or recoil control but G36 was a better jack of all trades gun.

I think this one is worse desu. 1 frame snap to a valid target but doesn't shoot because he wasn't even aware that there was another target. You'd never snap to a target and not shoot it in this scenario. So his software aimed for him, he didn't see the enemy and therefore doesn't shoot.

Oldfag here, got 30 hours in, been playing everything since BF1942 (skipped 2042, console shit, and hardline, which isn't a BF game), and enjoyed every game except for V. Currently still hitting BF4 a few times a week with about 4000 hours in it, and BF3.

I quite enjoyed the beta, right now my major problems are
1) Maps can feel small, I shouldn't experience death on spawn in a BF game
2) Destruction doesn't feel as fancy as it could be, is nice but is more like BF3 and there are times where something that logically should break doesn't. I wish most of the maps didn't look broken from the start, makes our destruction look less meaningful.

Smaller issues:

3) The regen health system they created for a game like BF is a nice compromise, but I still wish it was an optional server choice, no I don't want "veteran/realism" with no HUD where a pistol can one shoot you in the foot.

4) I love the mechanic of moving a buddy out of the way, but with a medic the revive can be too fast, I wish I could choose between moving the guy away faster or reviving him faster.

You don't have to fix them with bipods. I don't think bipods are that bad, but you can largely do without.
The main thing that I don't think people were doing is that you should be prefiring constantly because you don't have to worry about ammo. LMG gets more accurate with sustained fire so you get a laser beam that does like 40 dmg on a headshot and you're already shooting as you round a corner, so you can delete an entire squad before they can react. And then you have a deployable so everything's a corner.

I am on fiber a few miles away from their Dallas servers and I still get awful rubberbanding, especially vehicles. Mostly it's okay but maybe like 1 in 5 times it's absolute garbage. It's their servers and if EA is gonna have a monopoly on server hosting it should be flawless, they should have 100% control over their performance and network environment. If that's the level of service and performance I can expect, then I think it's unacceptable.

The open weapon system is fine is my big hot take about this game. Though I think maybe they should limit shotguns to assault (remove the weapon sling so they can only carry one primary) and bolt-actions to recon. There's really no reason to limit the ARs, LMGs, SMGs and DMRs and ig the Carbines considering they're not very annoying to get killed by generally and with the exception of the DMR they all basically function as varieties of the same type of gun (SMG = AR for cqb, Carbine = midrange AR, AR = allrounder, LMG = AR for sustain fire)

No. Most servers are very reasonable, at least in hardcore mode because I've not played normal mode ever since hardcore was made available in BF. Servers are great, usually well managed community servers both in EU and US and I play in both. There's no 3200 ticket bullshit. It's around 1200 usually, with a great short map rotation for infantry specialized servers or map vote for general servers.
