Not every game can reach that, and you can always limit that with MSI afterburner
VRR is great when you either use an IPS monitor, or there's not enough fluctuation to make the screen flicker on other types of panels, but enough that is bothersome.
No latency penalty from vsync and enough clarity that there's no tearing at all always helps. The only people complaining about VRR are those who play games with really bad frame pacing on these other panels, or people who have a monitor that somehow gets fucked with VRR (it happened more often earlier on but this technology is what, over 10 years old by now?)
