The new content in epoch is one and done shit. After you've done the dungeons a few times, and experienced the new world boss mechanics that's all there is to it. Its 99.9% the same game with the same mobs with new extra talents and profession gear. Servers have been doing vanilla but with tbc, or wotlk talents for more than a decade. Just because that one shack in booty bay has a new color texture and the new quest giver says you have to collect 10 Naga asses instead of boar hides, does not really confer new gameplay...

Try Ascension. The big private group that ate up Epoch. Their content is honestly really cool. Shit like a class that spams turrets, necromancer, bloodmage, Sub Cleric, and others. Plus the classless server too. They're neat little distractions. I still prefer Classic type content but I see the appeal.
