You play with much worse graphical settings than a decent mid-range PC.
However, you don't have to deal with shader compiling bullshit, you don't have to install literal malware on your console, and you already have a perfect controller to play the actually good PC games on your low end computer you probably have as well.

Other engines also have shader compilation bullshit, and some actually do it while the game is running and give you horrible stutters.
The OP's post is actually the "fix" for the horrid shader compilation stutters we're having since adopting DirectX12.
