It's tricky. The main problem with Yu-Gi-Oh videogames is the fact that Yu-Gi-Oh is not a fun card game. It's in fact shit. We need to phase out the card game part and focus on the thing people really care about, the hot sluts.

Post list. I have a Gate Guardian core (Not that that's impressive it's like 2 URs) and a bunch of board breakers from playing Sky Strikers back when the alt arts came out.

This game went to shit in terms of balance when they stopped giving master rule updates every 4 years or so. Yugioh isn't chess, this game needs updates and having powercreep after powercreep is killing this game. Just see how bad it is going second in this game, they need to print something incredible broken like Tenpai to even have a chance of winning going second this or just get lucky and draw 3 good handtraps and pray for you opp don't have a 1 card combo to build a full board anyway

No, Konami found a profitable model with Master Duel, and the only way to save them would be to go back to story/campaign driven RPGs like Forbidden Memories, Duelist of the Roses, Dark Duel Stories, Stairway to the Destined Duel, The Sacred Cards... and that's not going to happen, because it makes them way less money and takes a lot more efforts, the glory days are over now.

Fuck it, they were content in keeping the duelists moving in bikes and boards, why not revive their one-spin off as a dedicated mode and do turbo duels? Get them engaged largely with the racing part while using the card game to disrupt your opponents
